|The UnReal Project is the Drum and Bass project of Alejandro Vernet.|
He starts his career at the age of 14 in Cali , Colombia, taking guitar lessons at a Latin Music Institute. One year later, he starts taking individual guitar and music lessons until 1998, when he moves to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he keeps on with the guitar lessons but, this time, orientated to rock and heavy metal styles.
In the year 2004, his passion for electro-music encourages him to work with electronic production, focused on drum & bass and liquid funk.
In the year 2006, he released his first EP " Drama And Breakz " at www.loopenrein.net.

Q: Where does your artist name come from?
A: Music is my life project. For a south american guy is an UnReal Project.
Q: Tell us more about your musical roots!
A: I started playing guitars in a New metal band ( Tribu ) with my high-school mates. I discovered the electronic music world and jumped on it producing deep house , then breakbeat, but then i discovered drum and bass in a local party ( +160 ) and felt in love with it.
Q: How did you start producing music?
A: When Reason 2.0 felt into my hands.
Q: Are you also a DJ?
A: No, i play live.
Q: Do you work together with other artists also? E.g. Remixes?
A: Not at the moment, but i would love to. So if you are looking for collabs, let me know.
Q: Do you have any special musical aims?
A: Quality sound and liquid funk .
Q: What do you think of the contemporary popular music which is played by normal radio stations?
A: ummm .... crap.
Q: What have you read recently (book, play, film, etc.) that moved or surprised you?
A: “Mastering Audio The Art And The Science” ( Bob Katz ) .... freak ...
Q: What is your all-time favorite track? Why?
A: Lots of them, many styles. My today favourite track is Contour – Synapse ( Bungle Remix ).
Q: What's one thing you're a fan of that people might not expect?
